Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare of India Mr. J. P.Nadda is currently visiting Tokyo to participate in the meeting of the Ministers from South East Asia and Western Pacific region on Anti-microbial Resistance on 16 April 2016.

Health Minister Nadda arrived in Tokyo on 15 April 2016. He met JapaneseMinister of Health, Labour and Welfare Yasuhisa Shiozaki yesterday at the dinner hosted by him for participating ministers in the AMR Conference.

The two Health Ministers held a 30-minute long bilateral meeting today morning before the AMR Conference. The two ministers stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in the health sector.
