Visit of Hon'ble Minister of Health and Family Welfare H.E. Jagat Prakash Nadda to Japan (15-17 April 2016)

Hon’ble Union Health and Family Welfare Minister H.E. Jagat Prakash Nadda was on a visit to Tokyo from 15-17 April 2016 to attend the Asian Health Ministers' Meeting on Anti-Microbial Resistance(AMR). During the visit he also visited the kidney dialysis centre of Tamagawa Hospital in Tokyo. Indian medical engineers have been trained in dialysis treatment and maintenance technology under the successful Indo-Japan HR exchange program at the hospital.

He also held bilateral meeting with his Japanese counterpart H.E.Yasuhisa Shiozaki and discussed various areas of co-operation in the health sector, particularly medical equipments in light of Make in India.
